At the Smart Waqf Fund, our mission is to be a beacon of change, guided by the principles of integrity, inclusivity, and compassion. Our fund will be allocated as follows:
Representation and Influence (40%):

Analyse and map the current representation and influence of the Muslim community within governmental and institutional structures in the UK.

Identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing Muslim representation and engagement at decision-making levels.

Support initiatives to strengthen advocacy, inclusion, and visibility within governmental and institutional frameworks.

Institutional Support for Future Generations (40%):

Evaluate the educational landscape for Muslims in the UK, focusing on the development and support of institutions for the upcoming generations.

Identify key areas where support is lacking or needed to create platforms for the next generation of Muslim thought leaders.

Propose the establishment or support for educational institutions akin to top tier private institutions and the Cambridge Muslim College.

Recommend grant programmes or scholarships targeting exceptionally talented Muslim children to access prestigious educational institutions such as CMC and Oxbridge.

Smart Charity (20%):

Recommend strategic charitable initiatives that align with modern-day challenges faced by the Muslim and wider non-muslim community, focusing on sustainability and efficacy. This could include helping the homeless, food banks, poverty alleviation, etc.
